The mission of the Mansfield Book Festival is to:

stimulate interest in reading and literacy for grades PreK-12.

connect kids, teachers, and families with great books and authors.

promote arts and culture to MISD students and the community.
Mansfield Independent School District and its partners will host the first annual Mansfield Book Festival on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at the Mansfield Center for the Performing Arts. This free, one-day festival will highlight literature of all ages by connecting the Mansfield community to authors, storytellers and great literature. The day's festivities will also celebrate MANSFIELD 125, the year-long celebration of the community's 125th birthday. This celebration of the arts, culture, and literature will feature award-winning authors, storytelling, music, and author panels.
